Pierrette Raymond

Pierrette RaymondFor more than fourteen years, Pierrette Raymond has been helping families and individuals sort through lifetimes of memories in order to help them move onto the next phase of their lives. Whether they were downsizing and decluttering basements, garages or attics filled with books, clothing, sports equipment or mounds of photographs what always mattered most was the people, the families and the stories that their cherished items told.

The true impact of Pierrette’s work came following the experience she had with her dying mother.  The time she spent at her bedside during the last ten weeks of her life provided her with the opportunity to celebrate life and truly gauge what was important.  From that experience she started seeing people’s lives through their stuff – emotional, physical, spiritual – and how their stuff told their story, the story of their lives.

With a background in Psychology and Education and subsequent training in death, dying, bereavement, funeral services, grief recovery and certification as a Certified Relocation & Transition Specialist, Pierrette is a woman who understands the challenges people face following major life changes including moving to another home, death & loss and aging.  She has been described as compassionate, caring, having a huge heart and always working passionately and diligently for her clients. – See more at: https://w3ottawa.com/2013-award-winners/#sthash.BoWnnMzQ.dpuf
