Jordan Merkas is a 16 year old full of boundless energy and selflessness, a good friend, sister, daughter. A part of the Gloucester Dragons and Hornets soccer Club since the age of 5, she has played the game at a high level, as well as coached it. Jordan has put countless volunteer hours into mentoring and coaching young soccer athletes, through summer programs and winter development. Always looking to give back, Jordan has volunteered for several community events including the first ever International WE Day in the Ottawa Gatineau region, which simply put, is a movement of young people leading local and global change. Along with her athletic and community devotion, she maintains honor roll status at Garneau High School through committed study habits and hard work.
